Leadership I Training Class
On October 20th and 21st SSPBA Leadership Training I class was held at the Comfort Suits Hotel in Locust Grove, GA. The class was very informative on how to run a SSPBA chapter, what to do if under investigation, and the ins and outs of Garrity. The Two main instructors for the class were Terry Nowell (Director of training for SSPBA) and Randy Byrd (NCPBA Division and Cary Chapter President).

The class was introduced to the entire SSPBA staff and informed of what they each do to assist not just the main organization but the local chapters as well. There were Law enforcement officers from all over the SSPBA coverage area. It was a great time of Education and networking with other LEO’s from around the South Eastern United States. SSPBA strongly encourage anyone that has a chance to attend this training to do so, and strongly believes it will be a great benefit to anyone who takes the course.
