Legislative Update
 
House Bill 870 as amended by the Senate has been defeated and has died in the House of Representatives. This bill was amended by the Senate to include language to removed many state law enforcement officers and other state employees out from under the State Personnel Board making them "AT WILL" employees. 
 
This is only one of several bills created and passed by the Senate to accomplish an "AT WILL" status of state employees during this legislative session.
